At the official Award Ceremony, organized by the MMA Nuclear Medicine Institute, the „Milovan Antić“ Prize has continuously been awarded for 16 years. The prize was named after Prof. Antić, a pioneer of nuclear medicine and a former head of the MMA Nuclear Medicine Institute, and is awarded for the best paper published in an international magazine covering this field.

The Award Commission presided over by the head of the Functional Diagnostic Unit of the MMA Nuclear Medicine Institute, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ljiljana Jauković, presented this year’s award to Jasna Mihajlović and the group of authors from the Nuclear Medicine Institute in Sremska Kamenica. The paper was published in the American Journal of Radiology under the title ‘’MRI Versus 131I Whole-Body Scintigraphy for the Detection of Lymph Node Recurrences in Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma’’.
